AMAZING PRIVATE – TRUFFLE HUNTING WITH DOGS, ANTINORI STOP & CHIANTI CLASSICO WINE TOUR – Tour length 8 hrs and 30 min
- 9.00am – Meet your Driver Guide directly at your address – Welcome sign TUSCANY IS AMAZING. Please be so kind to be ready outside in time
- 10.00am – Truffle Hunting with Dogs & Truffle Hunter. Please remimber to bring a second pair of shoes (sneakers)
- 12.30pm – Visit a boutique winery in Chianti Classico Wine Region. Lunch, Wine tasting (Chianti, Chianti Classico Wine, IGT, Supertuscan, White Pinot, Rosè and Limoncello) and Olive oil tasting
- 3.00pm – Stop at the famous Antinori underground cellar (time to walk outside between the wineyards and inside the property but without to allow the cellars – NO CELLAR TOUR). Time to taste the famous Antinori wines (tasting are not included). In 2022 Antinori nel Chianti Classico was elected the best winery in the world according to World’s Best Vineyards. In 1900, Piero Antinori bought several vineyards in the Chianti Classico region, including 47 hectares at Tignanello. His son Niccolò scandalised Tuscany in 1924 by making a Chianti containing Bordeaux wine varieties. Niccolò retired in 1966, to be replaced by his son Piero who was even more innovative. The real revolution came in 1974 with the launch of Tignanello’s first vintage, 1971: a barrique-aged wine from the vineyard bearing the same name containing Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Technically Tignanello was not the first ‘Super Tuscan’ – that honour goes to Sassicaia.
